If you’re looking for something modern with all the mod cons and a contemporary feel, Piccadilly Residence York is where you want to be. Renovated into 120 studio and one-bedroom self-contained apartments only two years ago, the development and all of its furnishings are still very new.
With gloss units and integrated appliances, the kitchens are very sleek and fashionable, and paired with modern grey sofas, large TVs and double beds, the apartments are well designed, in keeping with the latest trends. Their open-plan layout, large windows and plenty of hidden storage space mean that they’re also bright and spacious; everything you need from an apartment!
The communal areas in Piccadilly Residence are equally as impressive. With a fully-equipped fitness suite packed with weights and cardio machines, you don’t even need to leave the building to work out. Open 7 days a week, you can forget about forking out for an expensive gym membership, as it’s completely free for tenants to use.
If you feel you need a day off from being active, tenants can also make use of the large residents' lounge; home to sprawling sofas, bean bags, a huge TV, pool table and foosball table. Ideal for relaxing or studying, it is a great place to socialise and meet your neighbours or just escape your apartment for a while.
Here at YPP we like to make the lettings process as simple as possible, so all of our larger developments, including Piccadilly Residence, benefit from an on-site concierge service. Designed to assist wherever they can, they are especially helpful to anyone new to the area.
With a small lettings office also, any questions regarding your tenancy can be answered on-site, cutting out the middle man. Finally, the development has parking right outside which is quite a rarity in York centre, however these spaces are limited and available at an additional cost.
If you’re looking for student accommodation in York, then this is where you should be. Only a 20-minute walk to York St John University and a 26-minute walk to The University of York, it’s very popular with students, however the development is open to professionals as well. Not many student flats in York have an on-site fitness suite and communal lounge and can offer parking so it really is something to snap up quickly.
