Every day is the perfect day for pizza, but yesterday was National Pizza Day and that got us thinking of our favourite places to grab a slice in Leeds.
Here are three of our most loved!
The Belgrave Music Hall is one of the city's most popular music venues but it is also home to one of its most popular pizzerias. Dough Boys offers a small but varied menu that often changes daily. The comical names of their creations such as the meat lovers ‘Sausage Fest’ and the ‘Queen Brie’ for our vegetarian friends add to the quirky and hip feel of the venue.
The fantastic flavours made from locally sourced ingredients are sure to make a visit worth your while.
Buca Di Pizza
Situated on Wellington Street not far from the train station or our Q Two Residence, the beauty of Buca Di Pizza it’s staggering variety. The menu offers all the classics margherita, funghi, pepperoni… but also a collection of pizzas for the more adventurous. The ‘Nduja Love Me’ is made with spicy nduja paste, Italian sausage and thyme roasted chicken, whilst the 'Seafood of Mirth' is a delicious combination Goan coconut curry sauce and pan seared tiger prawns.
Don’t fancy anything on the menu? The chefs are more than happy to make your own custom pizza using any of the listed ingredients.
